Week 7: Creating assets + Moving forward

This week was spent mostly on organizing everything for the future stages. The first thing I did though is finish the movement portion of the first video (the most popular emoji as of 2021).

After finishing up that portion, I tried jumping right into my second section but found myself struggling. I was not sure how to go about the movements in this section (2) so I decided to sketch it out. The second video I'm working on will cover different interpretations of emojis across Android, Apple, etc. After finishing those storyboards I began creating storyboards for other sections of the project (for video 3 and video 4). For this project, I want each area to look like its own specific section while also being able to meld together nicely. I have a specified color / font palette that I'm sticking to, so that should be able to keep everything together, but I think that I will also continue having outlines and contrasting colors.

I also spent some time working on assets for the second video I'm making, which is going to be on Varying Interpretations of Emoji. I'm still working on assets now, but I've landed on the option I want to go with after story boarding for a while and now have begun working on it in After Effects.
