Week 11: Thanksgiving break! + Video 4/5

Since I deviated a bit from my original schedule, I needed to grind a video out over Thanksgiving break. One of my previous videos took longer than expected due to my file organization being poor and needing to redo my compositions in After Effects at some point, but that is not a mistake I will make again.

Here is the completed video that I began working on last week. This is video number 4 which is about the differences in emoji usages in between women and men. I decided on this topic because of it’s focus on the different usage of the emojis themselves, rather than popularity across genders.

The final video I've been working on is about the Eastern and Western world. The data set that I'm using has a biological category where I chose the three topics... ingest (food), health, and sexual. This data compares the difference in the popularity of the emoji used per category. For the design I decided to go with flashcards for this video since it's comparing two sides and that's a pretty general way of showing that. After creating them all in Illustrator, I moved them over to After Effects and began working.

After moving everything into After Effects, I began working on the video itself. The completed video is down below!
